Kate is offering free 30 minute reading sessions with our wonderful GoldenDoodle named Mambo. Mambo is five years old and is an experienced "reading dog." Kate and Mambo will assist each student with 30 minutes of summer reading to encourage practice and enjoyment.

Studies suggest that reading to dogs can benefit children's reading skills and attitudes, particularly for struggling readers. Children who read to dogs have shown increased reading motivation, improved reading fluency, and better comprehension scores compared to those who read to adults. These benefits may be linked to the non-judgmental and encouraging nature of dogs, which can create a more relaxed and positive reading environment.

Mambo is very gentle and calm and he makes us feel so happy that we want to share the love! Spots are limited! Free sessions are available to Kate's current clients on the portal. Bring your own book please or we can provide one.
