When I moved to New Orleans seven years ago, I was the only Educational Therapist in private practice and I still am. It was wonderful to have the Wall Street Journal touch upon what we do, and how The Association of Educational Therapists, a 44 year old association, has its own certification process. Now that I am an ET/P, I am mentoring people just becoming Educational Therapists around the United States. I am seeing this profession not just reaching families that can afford it, but Educational Therapy being brought to non-profits as well.
